Darreus Rogers scores touchdown after Adoree’ Jackson interception to give USC the lead

The upset minded Trojans find the end zone first

USC and Washington had been in a defensive battle for the first 21 minutes of the game featuring an excellent Adoree’ Jackson interception. Sam Darnold then drove the Trojans down the field. On second and 11 from the Washington 13 Darnold dropped back and had all day to throw, he eventually found Darreus Rogers in the back of the end zone. The Trojans led 10-3 with 8:51 left to go in the first half.

Washington then burned off 6 minutes and put up another field goal. The Trojans would maintain a lead 10-6 with 2:31 left in the half.
