We are just past the halfway point for many high school football teams around the country. It is time to take a look at how some of USC's top commitments are performing in their final prep seasons.
Stephen Carr
Stephen Carr had 35 carries for 194 yards in last week's win over Grand Terrace. He had two touchdowns on the ground and added a kick return touchdown as well. Carr has been having a huge senior campaign. The 5 star running back seems to be scoring multiple touchdowns every week both on the ground and through the air. He has also been a factor in the return game.
Marlon Williams
Marlon Williams had a rushing touchdown last week against Baker. The 6-1 receiver has been scoring on the ground as well as catching touchdown passes this year for McGill-Toolen in Alabama. Williams had a four touchdown performance a few weeks earlier in a win against Blount. Williams has been instrumental to McGill-Toolen's undefeated campaign this season.
Juwan Burgess
Burgess has had a strong campaign for Florida powerhouse, Plant. The 3 star athlete has 538 all purpose yards as well as 3 receiving touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, Burgess has 31 tackles and 1 interception. Burgess has helped his team remain undefeated through seven games so far.
Hunter Echols
The 6-4 defensive end prospect has been a dominant force on the edge this season for the Cathedral high school Phantoms in Los Angeles. Echols has 49 tackles on the year 17 of those being tackles for loss. He has five sacks and 25 QB hurries on the year. He's also added an interception return for a touchdown and a forced fumble. Cathedral is also undefeated this year. The class of 2017 is really developing nicely. Trojan fans should be excited.
