We are expanding! . . . Now onto the links.
On the site, you can catch up on yesterday's game thread from the men's basketball game against Washington. The Trojan's started strong, but were ultimately beat by a game winning buzzer beater with a final score of 87-85.
Reign of Troy has more on the game, reporting on the staggering 22 point lead blown by the Trojans to lose the game. LA Daily News has a similar story, also including the the unfortunate development regarding junior guard Julian Jacobs. Jacobs injured his ankle and had to leave the game, after which the Washington Huskies were able to mount a comeback based largely on their free-throw shooting.
It wasn't a complete wash of the night for Jacobs, however. NBC Sports highlights the junior guard dunking on Washington freshman Marquese Chriss. The Trojan's next game will be at home, against ASU on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
