The USC men's basketball team has hit a bit of a rough patch this week, dropping a game to the Oregon Ducks on the 21st, and then losing to Oregon State 85-70 this past Saturday. Though this has proven to be a record-breaking season for the Trojans, they will have to stay on track to make it to the national tournament.
Meanwhile, the football team has seen some interesting developments over the weekend, at least recruiting-wise. Blue chip recruit Velus Jones has made his decision to attend USC. The announcement was made on Twitter, after a weekend spent with members and coaching staff of the OU Sooners. In other player news, Connor Spears announced that he will not return to play for the football team next school year, and will instead focus on the next stage of his life.
The LA Times also reports that Keyshon Camp announced his decommitment from USC this Saturday. Camp verbally committed to USC last June, but is reportedly accepting a scholarship from Ohio State instead. The Trojans now have seven scholarships left to award leading up to signing day on February 3rd.
