2015 USC Football: The Latest and Greatest links from around the web for January 19, 2016

We search for the latest and greatest USC Trojans stories from around the web so that you don't have to.

We are expanding! . . . Now onto the links.

Lots of good news for the Trojans on the site today. Nick Dempsey writes about the men's basketball team, which just broke into the top 25 on CBS, AP and the Coaches Poll. Good news for the football team as well. Former USC RB coach Tommie Robinson, most currently of UT, has reportedly been hired back by the Trojans. Robinson will apparently be the running backs coach as well as the run game coordinator under Clay Helton.

Fox Sports has more on the Robinson hire, pointing out along with LA Time's Lindsey Thiry that Clay Helton's latest coaching lineup is starting to look a lot like Lane Kiffin's. Fox Sports also reports that ex-USC defensive backs coach Keith Heyward has found a home with the Louisville Cardinals.

Also more on the men's basketball team's recent success, with the LA Times and Reign of Troy both writing about the Trojan's official break into the top 25 teams in the country, the first time since 2008. The men will play Oregon this Thursday, while the women's team has already played the Ducks, beating them 74-67. Check out the rapid reaction below.
