We are expanding! . . . Now onto the links.

In case you didn't here, USC beat UCLA 89-75 on Wednesday night. Also on the site today, an advanced stats breakdown on newly returned USC defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast courtesy of Saman Djabbari.

Meanwhile, the newly-assembled football coaching staff prepares for a very important weekend recruitment-wise. Fox Sports reports that the Trojans will hose five commits for the incoming 2016 class, as well as three nationally-ranked players who have yet to make a decision. The LA Times points out that there are still six scholarships available, and that USC will most likely try to offer the spots to defensive backs and defensive lineman.

More updates on the Coliseum as well. Bleacher Report writes that USC had originally earmarked $270 million for stadium upgrades to be completed by 2019, but considering that is the projected date for the completion of the Rams Inglewood stadium as well, that timeline might be pushed up. The renovations to the Coliseum would be important for a different reason as well, with Bleacher Report also writing that the stadium currently poses as a central venue in LA's 2024 Olympic bid.

Men's volleyball season has also kicked off. Catch the recap on their first week down below.
