The Trojans win against local rivals the UCLA Bruins 89-75 in one of the more impressive games of the season so far. The victory is a long time coming for the Men of Troy, it having been almost three years since the team beat the Bruins, according to the LA Times. The LA Daily News also highlights what an important game this was for USC, with it helping to solidify the Trojan's standing as a real contender in the Pac-12.
Meanwhile, the LA Times also reports that Ronnie Bradford has been hired as a secondary coach on Clay Helton's staff. Fox Sports reports that Bradford previously worked at Louisiana Tech, and has a longstanding report with fellow new Trojan hire Clancy Pendergast.

USA Today points out that the Coliseum's current lease only allows for one NFL team to play there, but that amendments could be made in order to make room for another.
