College football Week 5 AP, Coaches, and S&P Rankings

After a wild week in Pac-12 football here is how the rankings shook out.

The Trojans are still hovering around the same spot in the rankings as last week. They are very high in the S&P+ rankings, but take those with a bit of a grain of salt early in the season. The bad news is that the Trojans have a tough road ahead of them with Utah, UCLA, Notre Dame, Oregon, Cal, and the rest of their Pac-12 schedule. The good news is that a difficult schedule allows a team to climb back into the national picture after losing. USC is 3-1, and looked good last night, but buckle up, because we still have a long, long season to go.
