5-star quarterback recruit Tate Martell wrote on twitter that he will announce his school decision on Auguest 20th at 7pm pst on twitter.

247 sports is reporting he has narrowed his choice to USC and Texas A&M with their Crystal Ball prediction at 75% for the Aggies. You may remember Tate Martell as the player who in 2012 verbally committed to the University of Washington and then head coach Steve Sarkisian, when Martell was in the 8th grade. Here is what Tate said about Sark and the Huskies according to ESPN:

"Coach Sarkisian has such a good record with quarterbacks that it felt like it was a good spot," Tate Martell said. "Finally meeting with coach Sarkisian, it was really cool. He's a player's coach. He's a guy that, if you really needed to go talk to him about something, you can talk to him."

According to Bleacher Report, however, Martell visited Texas A&M recently and the trip went very well for the Aggies:

"I knew halfway through the day [Saturday], right around when I went to lunch, that even if I wasn't playing football, I'd feel comfortable going to college there," Martell said of Texas A&M. "That's the first time I've felt like that with a college. Adding football on top of it, that would make it that much fun."

Even without Martell the Trojans quarterback depth chart and competition to replace Cody Kessler will likely feature Max Browne, Ricky Town, part-time wide receiver Jalen Greene, and incoming freshman Sam Darnold.
