As recently as two weeks ago the Trojans had no defensive linemen in their 2016 recruiting class. Things changed fast.

This past weekend, 6-foot-4 defensive tackle Keyshon Camp announced his commitment to the Trojans, becoming the third defensive linemen to pledge their allegiance to USC in the past two weeks.

A rising senior at Lake Gibson Senior High, Camp is the latest Florida native to join the Trojans. The others? Recent first round selections defensive end Leonard Williams and wide receiver Nelson Agholor just to name a few.

After signing no commits east of Texas in 2015, the Trojans have already landed three recruits out of SEC territory. Camp joins Josh Imatorbhebhe and Velus Jones, from Georgia and Alabama respectively, proving the Trojan brand is as strong as ever despite some recent subpar seasons.

Camp recently de-committed from the university of Miami before committing to the Trojans. Apparently, all Camp needed was a visit to the USC campus and some quality time with head coach Steve Sarkisian to make his choice.
