USC Men's Golf vying for their first national championship

The USC Men's Golf team has never won a team national championship. That all can change today as the Trojans are on the Concession G.C. in Bradenton, Florida right now against the LSU Tigers.

Yesterday, the Trojans defeated Illinois 3-1-1 and LSU beat Vanderbilt 3-1-1.

The Trojans have never finished second in the NCAA Championships with their best performance being seven third-place finishes.

The match got underway at 7:30 A.M. and the Golf Channel has live coverage that started at 8:30.

UPDATE USC fell 4-1 in the title match against LSU but still the highest finish in program history.
