After a tough 6-1 loss in the opening round yesterday the Trojans face elimination this afternoon when they take on UCSB at 3pm pt. While the Trojans fought hard for 6 tough innings they fell apart late losing 6-1 to Virginia. UCSB lost in a much closer affair 4-3 falling to San Diego State. San Diego State pulled out the victory with the rare but impressive stealing of home base.
The two teams try to salvage their tournament hopes today competing in the loser's bracket. The winner will have a very difficult road ahead of them, the loser will go home.
