Steve Sarkisian and Co. are having quite an impressive offseason. The Trojans have already landed several top recruits, including top wide-out Josh Imatorbhebhe who just announced his decision via an over the top video.
What might be most surprising about next year's recruiting class so far is the lack of players from Serra high school. In both of the previous two years, the Trojans have landed three top recruits out of the Gardena high school, including five star players Adoree' Jackson and John Houston.
However, the Trojans may be adding another Padre to their roster soon.
According to Rivals.com, four star recruit Oluwole Betiku, who goes by Wole, is starting to warm up to the idea of joining the Trojans.
Four-star defensive end Oluwole Betiku has talked a lot about UCLA, Texas A&M and Penn State lately in his recruitment and all three schools remain heavily involved.
But the Gardena Serra standout seems to be warming up to USC much more and he said he's going to take a closer look at the Trojans. He is definitely not counting them out as things move forward
Should Wole decide to join the Trojans, he would be following in the steps of Marquise Lee, Robert Woods, and Adoree' Jackson, who all joined USC from Serra and went on to become stars.
Gaining a committment from Wole, would only increase a strong 2016 recruiting class for the Trojans. Should Wole commit, he would be the fifth 4-star recruit for Sarkisian. Wole announced that he will be taking some time before announcing his decision, so we may be forced to wait for a bit.
