After missing all of spring practice due to a school-conduct issue, tight end Bryce Dixon has left USC, according to USC officials. USC Athletics confirmed the news in a tweet moments ago.
Dixon showed promise during the 2014 season, his freshman season, but missed the California game due to a school-conduct issue. Dixon also was not on the field on the first day of Spring Practice this year and the rumor was that Dixon was dealing with an issue related to the issue in October. Dixon didn't participate in any workouts during spring workouts.
The loss of Dixon is huge considering the Trojans now have three tight ends on the roster, including incoming freshman Tyler Petite.
We should find out soon why Dixon left the school so stay tuned.
