SB Nation is nice enough to provide us hosting for the site, but ultimately, Conquest Chronicles is a fan community that thrives on participation. While we do have a few dedicated Trojan fans working hard to bring you the latest and greatest of all things USC, there are just too many great things happening for us to cover it all. This is one of those rare (perhaps only) times that USC's dominance can be a bad thing (not that I'm complaining).
The fact is Conquest Chronicles needs more voices to contribute to our community. We are always looking for new voices and perspectives to join the Conquest Chronicles team!
If you are passionate about USC sports, I strongly urge you to consider applying for a contributor role at Conquest Chronicles.
Read more about the opportunity HERE. You can also explore what it is like writing for SB Nation HERE.
"Do you love USC Sports? Do you want to learn more about digital publishing and sports journalism? Do you want to work for one of the most exciting sports media companies out there? If so, we have a great news, Conquest Chronicles wants you.
We're looking for additional contributors [. . .]. Here's what we're looking for:
• Folks who are passionate about USC athletics
• Writers who understand social media (Twitter and Facebook), and know where to find story ideas
• Individuals comfortable working in a remote environment
• The ability to write while requiring minimal editing
Previous writing experience is great, but not required.. . .
Writing is less of a time commitment, and MAY BE (but not likely at this time) eligible for a stipend as well.To be considered, please send a resume and a writing sample to ndempsey@usc.edu
We look forward to hearing from you soon!"
I talked to Pat Haden* and he told me that if you don't like Conquest Chronicles on Facebook, or follow us on twitter, then Charlie Weis will be the next head football coach for USC. Get ready for long grass, no defense and a football program that will repeatedly rank among the ten best 5-win teams in the country.
*Editor's note, just in case it was not clear there is literally nothing factual about this statement, it never happened and it never will, but you should probably follow us on twitter and facebook anyway.
