USC Basketball Wins Home Finale, 70-55

The Trojans played a solid second half of basketball.

Based on the way things have shaken out this season, fans were waiting for just one glimmer of hope heading into next season. It started with a sloppy first half, but Julian Jacobs took over the game propelling the USC Trojans to their third Pac-12 conference win over an undermanned Washington Huskies squad.

Jacobs led USC with 10 rebounds and nine assists, and came just short of the program's second-ever triple double scoring eight points in the winning effort. After getting in early foul trouble, Nikola Jovanovic erupted with 15 second-half points as the Trojans outscored Washington, 43-33, following the break.

Here are the dunk-filled highlights, USC had seven of them by the way, in the Trojans' biggest Pac-12 win of the season against the team just ahead of them in the standings. If USC wants to escape the No. 12 seed, they must defeat UCLA on Wednesday and hope for consecutive loses from Washington to finish out the season.
