The Trojans added a local product to the 2015 recruiting class in four-star pass catcher De'Quan Hampton. The Long Beach City College standout, formerly of Dominguez HS in Compton, Calif., joins early enrollee Isaac Whitney as USC's lone junior college commits.

Standing in at 6-foot-4, Hampton is an immediate big-play target that can provide much-needed size and strength to the position, especially with Nelson Agholor and George Farmer both departing early for the National Football League.

"I'm proud to be a Trojan," said Hampton. "I've worked very hard for this to happen. I'd like to thank my family for all their support and Coach Peabody and all the coaches here that helped me get to this point."

Interestingly enough, Hampton finished as the No. 5 ranked junior college receiver, according to ESPN.com. The four-star prospect initially committed to USC back in June, but finalized his selection here on National Signing Day, following a very successful official visit back on January 16.

ESPN's Evaluation: "This guy is raw, but very talented. Measurables are supreme and he would be a player that we feel could come in and make big plays from the get-go. Could make an impact as a redzone guy as well as slot receiver."
