Lots of recruitment updates on the site recently. Five-star Gardena Serra defensive end Oluwole Betiku committed to USC over the holiday break. Originally committed to UCLA, the #2 ranked defensive end for the class of 2016 reopened his recruitment process in late October. Partner site Pacific Takes follows that news with more Trojan recruiting updates, reporting that Troy Warner recently took his official visit to USC, and Jamel Cook names USC one of his top-three schools, but will wait till signing day to make a final decision.

In other USC news, Mark Rogers TV previews the Holiday Bowl, and Nick Barbarino reports that former USC interim head coach Ed Orgeron is unlikely to return to the team despite recent rumors, and will remain in his current role as defensive line coach at LSU.
