We are expanding! . . . Now onto the links.

On the site this past weekend, Trajuan Briggs previews the keys to a win in the Holiday Bowl for USC, and Julian Lopez reports on the developing situation regarding Chad Wheeler and his altercation with police this past weekend.

NBC News and the LA Times have more on the incident, with NBC News reporting that the left tackle was not arrested, but transported to a hospital to await psychiatric evaluation under protective custody. The LA Times adds that Wheeler was absent from practice on Saturday following the incident.

The LA Times also wrote about multi-sport all-star Adoree' Jackson over the weekend. Jackson will be taking the spring season to primarily focus on track for USC, and maybe even the Olympics. Helton has excused Jackson from participating in spring training so that he may more fully focus on track. Meanwhile, ESPN profiles Cody Kessler, recapping his tumultuous final season as well as his entire run at USC.
