Previewing the Mustangs:

The Mustangs are coming off of a 93-63 loss to St. Mary's on Monday, a common theme for the team from San Luis Obispo who are winless on the road this season. The Mustangs average close to 75 points per game and are led by senior forwards Joel Awich (13.2 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game) and David Nwaba (11.2 ppg and 6.0 rpg). Where the Mustangs struggle is on the defensive side of the ball, giving up 71.2 points per game and close to 44% from the field. This will be the first meeting between the schools since November 19th, 2011 where SLO upset the Trojans 42-36 at Galen Center.
