I'm sure if you're a regular viewer of this site that you've heard the good news by now, but in the event that you haven't USC beat UCLA this past Saturday in the Battle for Los Angeles, and will now be moving on to the Pac-12 division championship game.

In other news, USC has apparently reached out to Chip Kelly to express interest, according to Patrick Vint at the SB Nation main site. CBS Sports backs this up, also writing about the Trojan's early-stage interest in the Philadelphia Eagles coach.

Looking ahead to the Pac-12 title game, where USC will play Stanford for the second time this year, giving the Trojans a chance for redemption and a little bit of payback. The loss came at a tumultuous time for USC and it's then-head coach, as KSPR reminds us.  USA Today writes that a win next week would also give the unlikely Trojans a chance to play in the Rose Bowl.
