Mixed results this weekend for USC's sports teams. Football lost soundly to the indomitable Oregon Ducks on Saturday. However, the men's basketball team has had an amazingly strong start to the season, winning all three of their games so far.
All hope is not yet lost though for USC's football team. The LA Daily News reports that the Men of Troy still have a shot at the Pac-12 South Division Title. However, this will of course still require a win over UCLA this weekend when they visit the Trojans at the Coliseum on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Trojan's men's basketball team continues to defy odds and astound spectators. Going 3-0 so far this season, the basketball team will look to go for 4 in a row against CSU Northridge tonight as previewed by KSPR. The LA Times points out that the basketball team has not had this strong of a start to the season in 14 years. Hopefully they can keep that momentum going.
