From our recap by Kaylin Neely:

"The Oregon Ducks beat the Trojans 48 to 28. Vernon Adams threw six touchdown passes against USC. No quarterback had done that until ever until today. While Adams made history, Cody Kessler didn't look like a fifth year senior. He made critical mistakes.

It seemed like the Trojans came into the game planning to throw the ball against Oregon's weak secondary. The strategy failed miserably from the beginning. Kessler started things off by throwing three consecutive incompletions. Incompletions and defensive issues where the story of the first quarter. Things didn't pick up until safety Chris Hawkins intercepted an end zone pass by Oregon's Adams."
