Andy Enfield and the USC Trojans have been on quite a roll this offseason. They have secured their third commitment from the Class of 2016 in four-star shooting guard Jonah Mathews.

On why he chose USC, Mathews said, "I wanted to stay home. Plus USC is in the Pac-12, they play a great schedule all year plus they can do a lot for me after basketball."

The Santa Monica, Calif. native is a player who has been on plenty of college programs' radars for quite some time now. Mathews thrived on the AAU circuit, which is a platform through which many of today's stars were first discovered.

Mathews chose the Trojans over other notable schools in the region, including California, Gonzaga and San Diego State. He joins four-star shooting guard and Mathews' AAU teammate De'Anthony Melton and three-star power forward Harrison Henderson in USC's 2016 recruiting class.

Mathews is currently ranked No. 70 in the ESPN100 and the No. 78 prospect according to the 247Sports Composite.

The Trojans are currently reeling off a pretty impressive run on the recruiting circuit. Over the past three recruiting classes, USC has landed six 4-star recruits. If there was ever a time to actually get excited about USC basketball, this would be it.
