Taking a look at our tumultuous present, Andrew Green analyzes the track record of AD Pat Haden, and looking towards the near future, Julian Lopez talks with the folks at One Foot Down ahead of Saturday's game against Notre Dame.

Over at the main site, Rodger Sherman writes about the difficult situation that USC found itself in with Steve Sarkisian. Speaking of the ex-head coach, Sports Illustrated writes about Sarkisian's first comments since his firing, which he released via his twitter.

Back at USC, former players have been visiting practice in order to provide guidance and support for the current team. Past players and legends Willie McGinest and Keyshawn Johnson were both at practice on Thursday to lend their support and fire up the team. At the end of Thursday's practice, Johnson took time to give the team an impassioned speech encouraging players to give interim head coach Clay Helton their all, and to silence critics by performing.
