A couple of really great, thoughtful articles on the site today in the wake of all the recent developments at USC. Andrew Green cautions against too much unchecked hatred towards Sarkisian and encourages exercising compassion towards the ex-head coach, reminding us that we are all part of the Trojan family. Nick Schober echoes this, addressing the weekend at large and the depressing lack of understanding and well wishes towards an easy recovery in his interaction with social media.

From around the web, Sports Illustrated reports that USC allegedly fired Sarkisian with cause, meaning they would not have to pay him the rest of the amount left in his original five year soundtrack. The LA Times points out that major coaching changes are nothing new for QB Cody Kessler, who has had four different head coaches while at USC.
