USC has an off weekend so your Saturday is freed up. You could hit the gym, do laundry, learn a new hobby, or just relax outside in the sun. Or, if you're a degenerate like I am, you will spend the entirety of your Saturday scouting other college games, ensuring your weekend is as inefficient as 2013 Kobe in the 4th quarter.
To ease your stress of finding new games to watch, we have hand selected the best games in each timeslot. This will ensure you do nothing but watch excellent college football from sun up until sun down.
9:00 - 23 West Virginia at 15 Oklahoma (-7.0) - Fox Sports 1
Start your day off with some offense. The Big 12 defenses look like they are constantly playing against Aaron Rodgers, and this game should be no different. Oklahoma is led by a star quarterback in Baker Mayfield. He is on pace for over 3000 yards this season with a 30-6 TD/Int ratio. His top WR, Sterling Shepard, is a playmaker who should be on some watch lists for Biletnikoff award. West Virginia has done nothing but beat their combined opponents 130-23, which includes a game against Big 10 Maryland. Grab some coffee, turn your volume on high, and get ready for fight songs and screaming fans in this high-octane showdown.
12:30 - 13 Alabama at 8 Georgia (-2) - CBS
In contrast with the early game, Alabama and Georgia should be a good, old fashioned SEC slugfest. Nick Chubb, who would be considered the best RB in the nation in any normal year, will be going head to head with arguably the nation's top rushing defense. Each team has inexperienced quarterbacks and there will be tons of pressure on both. Alabama will be an underdog for the first time since 2009. , It will be fascinating to see how the Tide react to being dogs for the first time in 72 games.
4:30 - Arizona State at 7 UCLA (-14) - Fox AND 5:00 - 6 Notre Dame at 12 Clemson (+0) - ABC
Start this window out with some Pac 12 South action. Arizona State has been terrible this year, but there is talent. There is a reason they were preseason ranked 15th in the country. I expect this game to get out of hand quickly, but it is worth checking out prior to the start of the Notre Dame/Clemson game. There is a large impact on USC from this game, as a loss by Arizona State would eliminate them from South competition, while an upset would put USC on par with one of the favorites in the conference.
Assuming the game gets out of hand.... Flip on over to ABC to see the game of the day. Notre Dame is dealing with tons of injury issues, but remains undefeated despite playing with backup quarterback DeShone Kizer and third-string running back C.J Prosise. Prosise already has 600 yards and 6 TDs on 74 carries. He is on pace to set the Notre Dame record for average yards per rush. Meanwhile, DeShaun Watson is trying to follow up on his high recruiting ranking in his sophomore campaign. There is a boatload of talent, fun offensive schemes, and plenty of national implications on the line in this matchup. Even if ASU/UCLA goes down to the wire, you should still be able to catch the tail end of this classic with the 5PM kickoff.
7:30 - Arizona at 18 Stanford (-14) - Pac 12 Network
Close out your evening with this Pac 12 showdown that, quite honestly, is too good for the Pac 12 network. ESPN2 couldn't have grabbed this? Arizona brings their high-fire offense to The Farm with vengeance on their mind following their blowout loss at home vs UCLA. Stanford is pushing towards the conference title with 3 straight wins after their opening week loss to Northwestern. This game is a contrast in size and style, but it should be a far closer game than the -14 point spread and will be a great way to finish the day. Similar to ASU/UCLA, this game has USC implications as an Arizona loss means another team knocked out of the Pac 12 South race. Watch this game from start to finish and GO STANFORD!
Fight On!
