The day has finally arrived, USC and Stanford can battle it out at Stanford Stadium in the 2014 Pac-12 conference opener. USC has struggled as of late in these openers, dropping five of the past six, and the Stanford Cardinal currently hold the nation's longest home winning streak at 17 games.
This test will stretch USC, an offense that just compiled a Pac-12 record 105 plays against Fresno State, facing a Stanford defense that did not allow UC Davis to cross midfield until the final play of the game. The Trojans would love to upset the No. 13-ranked Cardinal on their turf, something they have not done since the 2008 season.
