Ricky Town, the No. 2 pocket passer in the nation, is not officially signed but this contract all but guarantees that he will come to USC as an early enrollee during the spring semester. According to NCAA rules, recruits can sign them up to six months prior to Signing Day, meaning that Town's window opened up on August 4th.
Now the quarterback can focus on luring talented prospects into USC's recruiting class, which currently constitutes 15 verbal commitments in the 24-man recruiting class.
Intending to start classes in January, much like Max Browne, five-star quarterback Ricky Town will immediately head to Southern California following his senior season at St. Bonaventure High School. While the excitement builds over Town's commitment, heralded Elite 11 profiled all the nation's top targets up at Nike Headquarters.
Elite 11 recently released their new video documentary series "Journey to Greatness" chronicling all the top high school quarterbacks in the nation going through mental, physical and psychological tests to the ultimate limit. The series features Town along with UCLA commit Josh Rosen and Alabama commit Blake Barnett over on ESPNU.
