Max Wittek to join Hawaii as Walk-On

After months of speculation about his expected transfer, Max Wittek has figured out a future course of action, but it will just take some time.

The Trojans former quarterback has elected to head west to Hawaii, and will compete for the starting quarterback job in 2015 after taking some classes at USC this Fall semester (must sit out this season) as a preferred walk-on in Norm Chow's system.

The four-star talent has a lively arm and will now have another opportunity to compete for playing time. It just entails a business trip to the lovely Hawaiian Islands where he completed 5-of-10 passes for 77 yards as the co-starter in last year's season opener.
