The upcoming season will certainly come with a major price tag.

The upcoming football season holds plenty of excitement for what should be an interesting campaign for both Steve Sarkisian and Jim Mora Jr. The Trojans and Bruins enter the year as top-25 squads with strong recruiting classes searching for an outside berth in the first-annual College Football Playoff.

The Crosstown Showdown has gone back and forth over recent decades, with UCLA winning each of the last two football meetings, which means plenty will be on the line when these teams meet in the Rose Bowl USC holds one of the best non-conference schedules in the nation, and the Bruins will have to play Texas, Oregon and Washington.

These big-time games certainly draw the attention of major schedule makers, and it seems as if the resultant ticket prices for these games recognize the value in following these Los Angeles powers. According to ticket experts Vivid Seats, the season ticket and individual prices for many Pac-12 teams will be on the rise heading the season.

Secondary ticket marketplace, Vivid Seats, just released its 2014 College Football Tickets Report, and UCLA has the 5th-most expensive ticket of the upcoming season, with a median price of $140, tied with Nebraska. The crosstown rival USC Trojans come in at 16th at $109. Ohio State tops the list at $210 to watch Urban Meyer's squad.

However, as the visiting opponent, USC is the hotter ticket (7th overall), increasing road ticket prices by 91.5%, on average. We know the Trojans typically travel well to road destinations, and once again the six hot-ticket games --featuring the first road game against Stanford-- will make for a great road trip. UCLA, meanwhile, is tied with Washington as the 16th-most popular road opponent (+25.2%) on the 2014 calendar.

The annual regular season finale between the Bruins and Trojans at Rose Bowl Stadium is the 15th-most popular ticket of the season overall, with a median ticket price of $250 and even a possible birth to the Pac-12 Championship on the line.

Just for arguments sake, the Trojans first game against Fresno State will not come cheap either. If you want to buy tickets through StubHub or Vivid Seats, the average price will cost a family of four just over $400 dollars. Granted these seats are closer to the Peristyle End Zone on the opposing team's section, but the Coliseum will feature must-see football.
