Javorius "Buck" Allen and Tre Madden, USC's top two leading rushers a season ago, were named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List that was released today.

The Doak Walker Award, which recognizes the nation's top running back, featured 53 players on the list for the upcoming 2014-15 season.

Allen led the Trojans with 785 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns last season, including 12 scores in the second half of the season. Madden had a team-high 38 carries for 703 yards and three touchdowns.

Along with Allen and Madden, USC also boasts sophomore Justin Davis in the backfield. Davis rushed for 361 yards, plus finished second on the team with six touchdowns.

Reggie Bush was the last Trojan to win the Doak Walker Award in 2005. That same year, he also won the Heisman Trophy and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.

Bush compiled 1,740 yards via the ground to go along with 16 touchdowns, while averaging a nation best 8.7 yards per carry. His 2,890 all-purpose yards that season was the third highest in NCAA Division I-A history.
