USC Football Win/Loss Total Odds Sit Just About Right In Vegas

Time for Sarkisian and company to put their money where their mouth is as the College Football season is less than 100 days away from kick off.

Las Vegas Betting Experts are jumping on this minor down time the news spectrum to release 2014 Win/Loss Odds for the upcoming college football season. In a sign college football is getting closer, 5Dimes (via Adam Kramer) has released win totals for 35 teams next season, including some major Pac-12 programs.

Oregon 10.5 (Over +100, Under -140)
Stanford 9.5 (Over -120, Under -120)
UCLA 9.5 (Over +100, Under -150)
USC 8.5 (Over -130, Under -110)
Washington State 5.5 (Over -165, Under +125)

Coming off a double digit win campaign, the Trojans are projected to take a minor step back this season mostly because of the fact that USC will only play 12 regular season games. Steve Sarkisian has done an excellent job reeling in excitement for the 2014 season, and the Trojans now prepare for a somewhat difficult schedule.

The Trojans are facing an overvalued Fresno State squad from last season, and they should also be able to handle Boston College's offense without the services of Heisman Trophy Finalist Andre Williams. But the Trojans will have some tough games early in Pac-12 play heading up to Palo Alto for an inspired Stanford quad looking for revenge, along with a pass-happy Oregon State squad and the defending Pac-12 South Champions.

So given what you know about USC's win/loss record, how do you stand with the overall projections for 8.5 wins heading into the 2014 season. The Trojans do have the toughest non-conference schedule based on win-loss records from last year.
