The USC Trojans have a serious lack of depth at the tight end position heading into 2015 with senior Randall Telfer graduating. But the coaching staff shored that up a bit today by flipping four-star tight end Tyler Petite from his previous commitment to Duke.
Petite is from Campolindo HS in Moraga, California and is listed as high as the No. 4 tight end in the country (ESPN). If Tyler Petite signs in February, USC will have three scholarship tight ends with Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick returning from academic ineligibility and freshman Bryce Dixon being available.
