The USC Trojans are going to be extremely thin on the defensive line after next season. Leonard Williams, Delvon Simmons, Antwaun Woods, Claude Pelon, Cody Temple and Greg Townsend Jr. will all be gone.

That's why the Trojans have been going hard after a number of defensive lineman in this recruiting class. They already have commitments from West Coast products defensive tackle Jacob Daniel and defensive ends Noah Jefferson and Christian Rector.

Now they are going across the country for Virginia five-star defensive tackle recruit Tim Settle. Settle tweeted Wednesday night that he will be visiting USC the weekend of the Notre Dame game next month:

ESPN ranks Tim Settle as a five-star recruit and the No. 17 prospect overall while Rivals, Scout and 247sports all have the Stonewall Jackson HS stud as a four-star and list him as the No. 8 to No. 14 defensive tackle prospect. Settle has previously taken official visits to Virginia Tech, Penn State and Oklahoma State. He also has planned an official visit to Washington State in December.

USC is putting a lot of recruiting eggs in its Notre Dame basket as Settle is joining a strong list of recruits that will be on hand that weekend. If the Trojans can beat the Golden Domers, could Settle and some others end up wearing the cardinal and gold? We shall see!

Until then, here are some Tim Settle highlights to salivate your recruiting desires:
