USC took what some thought to be a major recruiting hit last weekend with their huge loss to crosstown rival, UCLA.
Just ask rapper/recruit father Snoop Dogg, who told TMZ Sports his son and one of the top high school wide receivers in the country, hasn’t picked a school yet, but USC dropped down a few notches. He added it was "because nobody wanna go to no school that can't beat their rivals."
Luckily, this sentiment isn’t shared by all recruits as USC has a good number of official visits this weekend as the Trojans host Notre Dame.
Two highly recruited defensive studs will take a look at USC, Tim Settle is a 6-foot-2, 339-pound defensive lineman from Virginia and Roquan Smith measures in at 6-1 and 201 pounds. Both have been chosen to play in the Under Armour All-American game.
Osa Masina, a linebacker who made an unofficial visit last spring to USC will be back this weekend. Cornerback Donte Jackson from Louisiana, will be on hand for the game as well. And lastly, defensive end Mika Tafua, a defensive end from Kamehamehe in Honolulu, Hawaii, is on the official visit list as well.
