USC is looking to build on the momentum from last Saturday when it beat up on Oregon State, 35-10. The Trojans welcome the Arizona State Sun Devils to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum where ASU hasn't won since 1999.
In a matchup that could routinely feature 200+ offensive plays in the future, the USC Trojans will have to be conscious of when they can go no-huddle and press the tempo versus when they need to slow things down to make sure their depth-challenged defense gets enough rest. Both teams will also be taking on the elements as it is supposed to be 93-94 degrees, which will likely feel like 110-115 for the players in full pads.
USC will also have to find an answer for the spread option attack that Arizona State possesses. Trojan defenses have struggled to stop the matchup-conscious attack over the last five years and last year's 62-point onslaught by the Sun Devils was the most damning evidence against the USC D.
We want to hear what you have to say! Shotgun and Evan will both be down on the sidelines, but will try to check in at halftime with observations and sideline knowledge, but we want to see what you think as well. If you aren't able to make it out to the Coliseum, you can catch the game on ESPN starting at 4:30 p.m.
Now let's go #BeatTheSunDevils and fire away your pre-game predictions and those in-game comments.
