Despite USC's 56-28 easy win over Colorado on Saturday, Vegas was not necessarily impressed. The Trojans' odds to win the national championship stayed steady at 75/1.
Following the Ducks throttling of rival Washington, Oregon rose from 14/1 to 15/2. UCLA won a tight game with Cal and saw its odds rise from 100/1 to 75/1 -- equal with USC. Despite controlling their own destiny in the Pac-12 South, the Arizona State Sun Devils still sit behind USC and UCLA in the national championship odds. They currently have 100/1 odds, along with rival Arizona, after the Sun Devils were off the board last week.
Stanford went from off the board two weeks ago to 100/1 last week, back to off the board this week after falling to Arizona State. USC's cross-country rival, Notre Dame, fell from 10/1 to 25/1 after losing a close game with Florida State.
The Trojans also saw their odds in the Heisman race hold steady for Buck Allen. Allen rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown and is one of only four players in the country with 100+ yards from scrimmage in every game this season, but his Heisman Trophy odds stayed at 50/1. Allen is one of 14 players currently on the Bovada (www.Bovada.lv, Twitter: @BovadaLV) board for the Heisman Trophy, but currently has the lowest odds, along with Marshall quarterback Rakeem Cato.
Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota took back over the leaderboard in the best odds category following the win over Washington. He is the favorite at 3/2 odds after being at 3/1 last week.
