Kessler set the USC school record and tied the Pac-12 conference record. Of course, he was still a ways away from matching the national record set by Houston's David Klingler in 1990. Klingler threw for 11 touchdowns that day.
On Saturday, USC redshirt junior Cody Kessler finished 19-for-26 for 319 yards. He found Nelson Agholor for three touchdowns, Bryce Dixon for two and freshmen JuJu Smith and Steven Mitchell for their first career scores.
