Former USC Trojan center Dewayne Dedmon has signed a 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, the team announced Tuesday morning.
Dedmon was one of four post players worked out by the 76ers on Monday to fill to void created when the Sixers waived Daniel Orton.
This is Dedmon's second call-up this season after playing six minutes in four games with the Golden State Warriors early in the season. In 15 games with Golden State's NBA Developmental League affiliate, Santa Cruz, Dedmon was averaging 15.2 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.
Dedmon will wear #30 for Philadelphia.
