Former USC Trojan center Dewayne Dedmon was set to work out for the Philadelphia 76ers today, according to Yahoo! NBA writer Marc Spears.

Dedmon has been tearing it up in the NBA Developmental League playing for the Golden State Warriors affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. In 15 games, he is averaging 15.2 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.
He was signed by the Warriors earlier this season and played six minutes in four games before being waived and eventually rejoining Santa Cruz.
Dedmon has been one of the NBADL's top prospects this season and was named to the NBA D-League Showcase Second Team last week.
The 76ers recently waived Daniel Orton opening up a roster spot. Philadelphia (12-25) is currently in the cellar of the Eastern Conference's atrocious Atlantic Division.
