After leading #5 USC to an undefeated record in conference play to win the Pac-12 team championship, the Women of Troy's top players, freshman Kaitlyn Christian and sophomore Sabrina Santamaria, won the doubles tournament at the Pac-12 championships in Ojai by defeating UCLA's Courtney Dolehide and Pamela Montez 6-3, 6-3. Christian and Santamaria are now back-to-back doubles champions in the Pac-12 and ITA indoor tournaments. They were almost eliminated in the opening round by a UCLA pair, but prevailed in a tiebreaker to take a 9-8 victory. They now have a 30 match winning streak and are the #2 pair in the national doubles rankings.

Three hours before the doubles final, Christian also came out on top in the invitational singles tournament, winning a final against Stanford's Ellen Tsay that went to three sets (6-1, 3-6, 6-4). Christian's singles winning streak has extended to 13 games.

Next up for the Women of Troy: the NCAA tournament, which begins May 10. The teams that make it to the round of 16 will compete at the University of Illinois on May 17.
