While all the focus was on Matt Barkley's slide in the draft, one of Barkley's favorite weapons went in the second round to Buffalo.
I really couldn't be happier for Woods. Given his ankle injury and given how he was used this past season I think it is great that he was picked as high as he was.
Woods is going to be challenged in Buffalo as the Bills also drafted Texas WR Marquise Goodwin. In fact, the Bills drafted one of the fastest classes in this years draft.
Playing speed on the game field can sometimes differ from timed speed, but if the 40 times of Buffalo’s eight draft choices are any indication, the Bills have perhaps one of their fastest draft classes in recent memory.

"Speed is hard to coach," said Marrone. "I think that when you look at the picks you’re looking at players that have a lot of speed. I think the versatility is important because I think when you have versatility within the players then you don’t get stuck. Then you can get the best players on the field."

Woods will definitely get his shot and I can see how his sure hands will be a needed skill when it comes to the return game that will get him on the field.
I like it because, like Matt Barkley, I will get to see Woods play at least two times a year.
Good Luck Robert!
