The USC Trojans will be playing Fresno State in the 2013 Las Vegas Bowl.
The game will take place at Sam Boyd Stadium, the home of the UNLV Rebels. USC is 0-1 all-time at Sam Boyd, having lost Pete Carroll's first bowl game 10-6 to Utah in the 2001 Las Vegas Bowl.
USC will face a Fresno State squad that just captured the Mountain West Conference title by defeating Utah State, who the Trojans defeated 17-14 at the Coliseum, by seven in Fresno. The Bulldogs only loss of the season against San Jose State cost them a chance at BCS play but rest assured both teams will be motivated to finish the season strong.
If you are planning on going to Las Vegas next week, here are a list of team-related activities to take part in before the game Saturday afternoon. As one last parting shot to the BCS standings, the USC Trojans finished the regular season at 25th overall and will be facing the 21st ranked Fresno State Bulldogs.
Wed., Dec. 18 -- 4:15 p.m., media conference/photo opportunity, Fremont Street Experience
Thurs, Dec. 19 -- players from both teams will visit Opportunity Village (people with intellectual disabilities) at 9 a.m. and CP Squires Elementary School (Goodie Two Shoes Foundation shoe distribution to low income children) at 10 a.m
Fri., Dec. 20 -- 11 a.m., media conference (head coach and 2 players) at the Las Vegas Convention Center
Sat., Dec. 21 -- 12:30 p.m. Las Vegas Bowl
