Head coach Steve Sarkisian continues to put together his coaching staff here in the final moments of 2013 as USC looks to move forward in the next calendar year with even more pieces of the coaching pie set in place. Once Washington finished up its final game of the season by defeating BYU in the Fight Hunger Bowl, the stage was set for many of Sarkisian's former assistants to head down to Southern California.
NEW ADDITIONS
Justin Wilcox (Defensive Coordinator), Marques Tuiasosopo (Tight Ends Coach) and Tim Drevno (Offensive Line) along with former USC assistant Ivan Lewis (Strength and Conditioning Coordinator)
WHAT'S IN PLACE
Sarkisian previously announced the hirings of former Washington assistants Johnny Nansen, Peter Sirmon and Keith Heyward, and the retention of current USC assistants Clay Helton and Tee Martin.
WHAT REMAINS
Defensive Line Coach.
Steve Sarkisian has mentioned that he wants to contact Ed Orgeron about coming back on staff to coach the defensive line next season.
JUST FYI...
By my math, with all the buyouts and payouts, Washington ends up with a net positive of $376,500 in the UW-USC-Boise State coaching shuffle.
