Former Trojans Eric Wise and Marcus Johnson drafted by Iowa Energy

Former USC basketball players Eric Wise and Marcus Johnson were selected in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft.

Wise played three years at UC Irvine, before transferring to USC for his final year of eligibility. He ranks 11th on UC Irvine's all-time list in points (1,280) and 15th in rebounds (533), and became the 15th player in school history to register 1,000 or more points and 500 or more career rebounds.

As a Trojan, the 6-foot-6 forward played one season under Kevin O'Neill and Bob Cantu, averaging 11.9 points and 5.7 rebounds on 45.5 percent field goals.

Johnson played two-plus seasons at Connecticut before transferring to USC, where he played two years after being granted an extra year of eligibility.

He caught on with the Phoenix Suns summer league squad in 2010, and has also played in Croatia for Cibona as part of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague.

For Trojans fans, you might remember him best from this highlight dunk over Jorge Gutierrez.
