Barkley out for the Senior Bowl

This a little surprising, I guess his injury was worse than we knew.

USC quarterback Matt Barkley will not play in the Jan. 26 Senior Bowl because of his shoulder injury, according to a report from Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal.

Barkley sprained his AC joint against UCLA on Nov. 17 and missed USC’s final two games. The injury is often fully healed in two months, but during recent Sun Bowl preparations in El Paso, Texas, Barkley said he remained undecided about playing in the Senior Bowl.

What a crappy end to great college career.

Maybe Kiffin will finally figure out the O-line that played like a sieve this past season.
