Robert Woods Appreciation Thread

Robert Woods going to the NFL is not surprising news.

This was pretty much known before Christmas but Woods made it official after yesterdays loss in the Sun Bowl.

Woods announced after Monday's Sun Bowl that he will make himself eligible for this year's NFL draft. Woods said his draft evaluation projected him as a second-round pick in April.

"It was pretty hard,'' Woods said of his choice. "I had to weigh the options but I felt like this was the best decision for me.''

This was the best and easiest decision Woods could have made.

With most of the balls going to Marqise Lee this season, Robert Woods went from being one of USC's most dependable weapons to almost an afterthought this season. USC's lack luster play made the decision easy. Kiffin is out of his depth with how he uses his personnel...not taking a more balanced approach with ball distribution must have been a heavy factor in Woods' decision.

Of course, Moura tried to stir the pot with his crap move of taking out of context quotes by Woods yesterday. So what should have been a great sendoff turned into controversy.

Woods, like Matt Barkley, will go down as Great Trojans. He will be missed...
