Lane Kiffin pulls another rabbit out of his hat!
USC lands a stud corner from Tennessee.
Jalen Ramsey, a top cornerback recruit, committed to the USC Trojans Monday.
Ramsey stars for Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy. He chose USC over offers from Auburn, Clemson, Mississippi, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Washington, with Vanderbilt making a strong push late.
Ramsey was a consensus four-star recruit and a borderline top-100 player nationally as of mid-June, but an exceptional performance at The Opening in early July has him shooting up recruiting boards on all four of the major services.
Ramsey's commit (4-Star from ESPN) pushes USC to the top of the Rivals 2013-class Rankings.
I see what Kiffin is doing here.
Lock up (verbally) all the top talent you can, get three of those players to enroll early and keep trying to lock up players in case one or two of those early verbals doesn't pan out, for whatever reason, before next years signing day.
Although based on what these kids are saying I don't see any of them backing out now. Of course you never know.
No matter, today we celebrate another top player committing to USC.
Kiffin knows no boundaries...He is pulling kids from all over the country.
