A Week Of College Football Watch Lists: Who's Where For USC?

We've reached the point in the college football offseason, where preseason watch lists for a number of awards have begun trickling out. Since Monday, nine watch lists have been released, and over the next seven days, there'll be a few more coming out as well. But for now, let's look back and see where some Trojans landed.

Jim Thorpe Award, recognizes the nation's best defensive back: Senior safety T.J. McDonald and junior cornerback Nickell Robey.

Bronko Nagurski Award, presented to the best defensive player in college football: Redshirt sophomore linebacker Dion Bailey, McDonald and Robey.

Outland Trophy, awards the country's top interior lineman: Senior center Khaled Holmes.

Lou Groza Award, for the nation's top placekicker: Sophomore kicker Andre Heidari.

Rimington Trophy, awarded to the top center in the nation: Holmes.

Chuck Bednarik Award, recognizes college football's best defensive player: Bailey, McDonald and Robey

Maxwell Award, given to the nation's top offensive player: Senior quarterback Matt Barkley, sophomore wide receiver Marqise Lee, senior tailback Curtis McNeal and junior wide receiver Robert Woods.

Watch lists for the John Mackey Award (best tight end) and Ray Guy Award (best punter) were also released this week, on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, but no USC player was included on either list.
